Well Saced has only moved but it is a bit further away for some of us. I haven't found anything better than the chains - Costa, Starbucks etc and of the lot I marginally prefer Caffe Nero. Planet Organic is disappointing. EAT is better but too far.

Caffè Vergnano is pretty special. It's a bit of a hike (on Charing Cross Rd., near Leicester Sq. tube), but it's worth it for a very decent espresso!
There's also an AMT hidden at the back of Euston station, which is pretty good.
Mmmmmm... Coffeeeeee! :)
