Referencing tools

I used to use Reference Manager, and even dabbled with Endnote for a biut, but now Zotero rules. Firefox add-in, available anywhere, drag and drop formatted refs into your docs.  Lovely!

That sounds just the sort of referencing tool I have been looking for! Thanks for the heads-up.

My favourite piece of software.  As well as being the best tool for literature searches on the web, the easiest download of bib data and the nicest output style system (tho you have to learn XML) it has

  1. automatic cataloguing and indexing of PDFs
  2. web page annotation
  3. rich text notes on any object
  4. ability to import, catalog and comment on images
  5. linking files to references
  6. tagging
  7. organisation of references in collections
  8. syncing data across different machines

I've even started to use it instead of bookmarks

I think I may be a bit obsessive
