Background
This dissertation examines the impact of provision of video recordings of lectures upon student achievement.
The lectures were all captured using the Echo360 Lecturecast system which is being piloted in selected lecture theatres. Providing recordings of lectures and other teaching materials in audio or video format can help all students consolidate their learning, and is of particular benefit to students whose first language is not English or who have difficulties taking notes.
