The sea made me laugh

The sea made me cry

But the sea never made me

Want to die

You said you loved me

Then confessed it was a lie

Waves crash against my body

But I’m no longer angry

I don’t hold a grudge

I’ve moved on

I’ve found a new love

Who feels the way I feel

Who wants what I want

 

The sea made me happy

The sea made me sad

But now my boyfriend

Makes me glad
